Luodi for Universities
A live welfare dashboard for your international student team — task completion rates, at-risk flagging, and one-click outreach. Students get a free guided app. You get the intelligence layer no other platform provides.
Live welfare dashboard
See every student's task progress in real time. Flag who hasn't registered with a GP or claimed their council tax exemption.
At-risk identification
Students who've been on the platform 14+ days with no welfare tasks completed are flagged automatically — before it becomes a crisis.
PDF reports for leadership
On-demand welfare reports showing cohort-level completion rates, at-risk student lists, and 8-week trends. Ready for your Director or UKVI review.
Free pilot — September 2026 intake
We're offering free pilots to a small number of universities this intake. No cost, no IT work, no long-term commitment. We set up your portal in one day — you share a link with your students.

The business case
One prevented withdrawal pays for the platform many times over.
An international student withdrawing from their course costs a UK university £30,000–60,000 in lost fees. Luodi surfaces at-risk students in the first two weeks of term — when there's still time to intervene. At £4,800–14,400 per year, the maths is simple.
Do we need IT involvement to get started?
No. Students sign up via email — there's no connection to SITS, Banner, or any student record system. The dashboard is a web app. You can be live without a single IT ticket.
How does a free pilot work?
We set up your branded portal (takes us one day), you share the sign-up link with your incoming international students at fresher's week. At the end of term we give you a full welfare report to share with your Director. No commitment required.
What data do you hold about our students?
Name, university email, city, and which settlement tasks they've completed. No health data, no financial data, no location tracking. Students explicitly consent to sharing their task progress with your institution on signup. Full DPA available on request.
We already have an app for students — how is this different?
Most student apps (including free ones) only have the student-facing side. What's missing is what your welfare team sees: live task completion rates, a flagged list of students who haven't completed critical tasks, and reports for your Director. That's what Luodi adds — the intelligence layer your team currently doesn't have.
Does it work for students beyond Chinese students?
Yes — the app supports English, Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Arabic, and Korean. The dashboard shows all your international students regardless of nationality.
What happens after the pilot?
If it works, we move to an annual licence. If it doesn't, you walk away with no obligation. We ask for honest feedback and, if the pilot goes well, an introduction to two or three colleagues at other universities.
Can we customise the tasks students see?
Yes. Every portal has a custom tasks feature — you can add institution-specific tasks (e.g. "Register with the international student office", "Complete university welfare check-in") with your own descriptions and unlock timing.
